1. Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Pricedentity (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you create an account, run a pricing-readiness assessment, or respond to an assessment survey. It applies to the Pricedentity application at pricedentity.brnz.app. For account holders we act as a data controller; for the survey responses you collect from participants we typically act as a processor on your behalf.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — the name, email address, and password you provide when registering. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash and never in plain text.
• Assessment content — the case details you create and the survey responses submitted by the stakeholders you invite, which may include their name, email, role, and opinions.
• Usage and technical data — basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and actions taken, used to operate and secure the Service.

3. How and why we use data

We use personal data to create and secure your account, deliver assessments and their results, send necessary service and verification emails, provide support, and maintain the safety and performance of the Service. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service, and, where required, your consent. We do not sell personal data and we do not use assessment content for advertising.

4. Sharing and sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run Pricedentity — such as cloud hosting and transactional email — under contracts that require appropriate safeguards and limit their use to providing services to us. We may also disclose data where required by law. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

5. Security and retention

We protect data in transit with encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and apply role-based access controls, hashed credentials, and isolated data storage so that each account’s data is kept separate. We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Account holders can update their details in-product or contact us to exercise these rights. Participants who received a survey invitation can ask the inviting organisation, or contact us, about their data.
